HONDA CIVIC EG3 HELLAFLUSH STANCE







The fifth generation of the Honda Civic debuted in Japan on September 10, 1991. The new Civic was larger than its predecessor, had a more aerodynamic body and the wheelbase was increased to 257 cm (101.3 inches) for the three-door hatchback and 262 cm (103.2 inches) for the four-door sedan. The wagon was also dropped for overseas markets, while the previous generation station wagon ("Shuttle") continued in Japan. This generation of Civic used lightweight materials to create a fuel efficient economy car. Compared to the previous generation, the cowl was raised, which allowed for more suspension travel. Along with that change the ride became softer than that of the previous generation, which provided a more compliant ride at expense of crisper handling.



This Honda Civic 92' mdl is varied as EG3 in the Philippines it has a PH12 engine with a Displacement of 1,193 cc (72.8 cu in), Bore and Stroke : 75.0 mm × 67.5 mm (2.95 in × 2.66 in), Compression : 8,6:1, Power : 74 PS (54 kW; 73 hp) at 6,300 rpm, Torque: 88 N·m (9.0 kg·m) at 3,500 rpm, Valvetrain : SOHC (4 valves per cylinder), and Fuel Control : Single Carburetor PGM-CARB. But this Civic in the picture has a D13B1 engine which has a Displacement : 1,343 cc (82.0 cu in), Bore and Stroke : 75.0 mm × 76.0 mm (2.95 in × 2.99 in), Compression : 9.5:1, Power : 76 PS (56 kW; 75 hp) at 6,300 rpm, Torque: 102 N·m (10.4 kg·m) at 3,100 rpm, Valvetrain : SOHC (4 valves per cylinder), head bolts torque 14 22 37 53, and Fuel Control : Single Carburetor PGM-CARB. The owner has a plan changing the engine's cylinder head to the cylinder head of a D15B5 EFI VTEC engine. So this D13B1 will be an EFI engine and has VTEC power. Though D13B1 engine is a slightly powerful engine and economic, the owner wants it to be more powerful but still economic.









And its wheels are customized. Its wheels were swapped with a "TURBO component" mags 16inches X 8.5lips, +20 offset and a 195/45/16 Sailun tires. Its camber settings were also customized. The rear camber is a camber kit that can be adjusted. Its rear camber was adjusted to a negative "STANCE" it was adjusted to -4.75 and the front were adjusted to -2.57 camber. Because of the adjustment the wheels tilted to a slant look. The suspension was stanced just by cutting the springs per shock. The springs weren't changed to a lowering springs. And the shocks weren't changed to coil overs to make it totally stanced. But the owner plans to change its suspension to a street coil overs. With the car's current look, it is named a "hellaflush" car.
